Elwood Home 3 – kitchen, pantry, bathroom + powder room

The bespoke creation of renovated spaces in this townhouse in Melbourne’s leafy bayside suburb of Elwood has given the home an understated new lease on life, with the home now truly representing the clients’ sophisticated yet calm and welcoming style.

The original space was dark and wasn’t functioning as the client would like. The redesign of the kitchen area has relocated the entrance enabling us to create a butler’s pantry/laundry area which also houses a cleverly hidden sleeping area for the clients’ gorgeous black labrador, Olive.

The client’s brief was for a Scandinavian feel, to maximise storage and to bring natural light in to brighten the space.

The existing bathroom upstairs was large and cumbersome, containing a large bath which on consideration with our designer was discovered to be unnecessary.
