Doncaster East Home – Hamptons kitchen
Set in a beautifully spacious home in the hills of Doncaster East this family was looking to continue a luxurious theme throughout incorporating a Hamptons kitchen style and a few statement design features that compliments the rest of their home and created a look and feel to the home that is grand yet subtle; almost romantic.
In-home consultation
Looking to continue the Hamptons theme of their home into the kitchen and pantry areas the clients were finding many limitations with their existing kitchen. The pantry was so small and impractical, there was a bottle neck for people walking in and out of the kitchen area through to the powder room and laundry, and the overall appearance was dated and drab. A butler’s pantry was a must, which meant moving walls around to better divide the spaces. Part of the project was also to re-tile the entire downstairs area, which was the beautiful finishing touch.
Delivery
The result was a large provincial styled kitchen and pantry with all the modern conveniences that you cannot live without. The different shades of greys and whites beautifully compliment the imported Italian timber look tiles, and the clients are absolutely delighted that the separate pantry is like a small kitchen, and that the multi-use island bench is the superstar of the entire living area with its decorative columns, huge bench-top for food preparation, and designated area for friends and family to sit and relax.
