Brighton Home 2 – Ensuite, powder room + laundry

The clients came to us as their existing Ensuite space was lacking in this otherwise spacious solid brick Edwardian home, located in Melbourne’s Eastern suburb of Brighton. To avoid our clients walking upstairs to share their main bathroom with their three teenage children, our design team needed to come up with a solution to maximise the ensuite space. As the kitchen and living areas had recently been renovated this highlighted the need for a new aesthetic in the ensuite, powder room and laundry to ensure continuity throughout the home as well as providing an abundance of storage in their ‘Hamptons’ inspired renovation.

To our clients delight the ensuite footprint was enlarge when our design team came up with the innovative solution to take some much needed floor space from the adjacent powder room and giving it to the ensuite. The additional space being utilised as a private shower nook within the ensuite. The ensuite and laundry showcases lavish amounts of storage in keeping to the Hamptons style with the use of bespoke panelled cabinetry paired with unique handles.  You will note the tile selection ensures the continuity of the style throughout, effortlessly complimenting the cabinetry and colour scheme ensuring that the laundry and powder room tie back to the ensuite without being a carbon copy.
