This beautiful Victorian home in Moonee Ponds is on the path of transformation. As an initial mandatory the clients wanted to convert a large, 3x4m bedroom into what will be the only bathroom in the home, providing a sanctuary from the surrounding works. With the small, dark existing bathroom to be demolished, the homeowners wanted a beautiful bathroom that is natural, bright and textured, maximising the space a conversion of the bedroom would have to offer.
Their choice of contractor became a question of trust; the client wanted a ‘feeling’ from her new space, and she felt comfort in smarterBATHROOMS+’ ability to deliver on this.

The imagery of this dreamy space says it all; natural light falls softly on the stunning large natural grey tiles as they run down the wall and into the floor, gradually changing from dark to light with a hand selected colour format blurring the hexagonal lines to the vanity wall. This provides the perfect backdrop for an inviting freestanding stone bath, finished with carefully placed timeless chrome tapware.
A bespoke vanity brings in further contrasting textural warmth, with plenty of storage both in drawers and the mirrored shaving cabinet. Everyday functional luxuries complete the space with a walk through shower, built in display shelf and ample heated towel rails.
