Essendon Home – Kitchen, laundry, bathroom + ensuite

This professional Essendon family were in need of a complete home renovation. They engaged with smarterBATHROOMS+ to renovate all of the wet areas throughout their grand Edwardian family home. Our clients wanted to fill the large open spaces with luxury fixtures, fittings and natural materials to ensure that the contemporary spaces remained warm and homely, as due to the room size they had the potential to become vast and cold.

The kitchen being the centre piece of the home, where the family starts and ends their day together was a very important focal point to ensure our clients, their children and children friends who frequent at the Essendon home, could all enjoy the revitalised space together. Seating on both sides of the island bench ensures that the kitchen space can remain interactive and easily enjoyed by the whole family.  Practical user friendly storage was also high on the wish list within the kitchen, achieved with the inclusion of internal drawers, pull out spice units and ample pantry space. The kitchen is just as much functional as it is stylish, oozing sophistication from the textured timber veneer feature cabinetry to the over sized marble look benchtops. Fitted out with Gaggenau appliances the space really is the entertainers delight and perfect for our busy clients and their family.

The laundry was required to have a flow on effect from the kitchen, with the same materials used to ensure the space could be enjoyed making laundry chores that much easier. The bathrooms too needed to depict the same level of sophistication while remaining tranquil. The basins and bath soon became the statement pieces within these rooms demonstrating a soft curve that resembles the marble veins running through the stunning tiles that have been used through out.
