How Do Virtual Consultations Work?

At smarterBATHROOMS+ we endeavour to make every step of the renovation journey as easy as possible. This may mean we can’t meet face-to-face in your home or in one of our showrooms but don’t let that stop you! We offer virtual consultations from the initial design meeting, to signing your renovation contract, ensuring you can get started on your renovation journey.

Here’s how our virtual process works.

1. Get inspired

The perfect place to start on your renovation journey is by getting inspired! This is where you can start to understand what you want and don’t want out of your renovation. Browse through our bathroom and kitchen projects or explore one of our beautiful showrooms virtually. This will give you great insight as to what could be possible in your home.

If you’re after more information then our blog articles and advice guide can provide you with the answers to all of your home renovation questions. From design tips and tricks to budgeting guidelines, you will find everything you need to know about your home renovation there.

2. Virtual Design Consultation

When you are ready to engage with an interior designer the only thing left to do is to book a FREE consultation with a member of our award-winning interior design team. We have flexible times available to work within your schedule with a multitude of video call platforms available to best suit your technological needs.

To get the most out of your video consultation there are a few additional pieces of information that you can send to your interior designer prior to your consultation that will really help to get the most out of your virtual consultation:

Measurements of your space: In most instances, you may have plans drawn up, you’ve just purchased your house, so the layout might be within your paperwork or you can measure up the space yourself. We have put together a handy tutorial to help you.
Images of your space: Sending pictures of your existing room is the perfect way for your designer to understand the space as well as the natural lighting they have to play with. Don’t worry there is no need to tidy up before getting the camera out!
Inspiration images: If you have a Pinterest board you would like to share with your designer or any images of spaces you want to emulate then these are always helpful too.

On your video call your interior designer will gain an understanding of your requirements for your new space, talk you through innovative options that are designed to make your life easier, discuss the style of your space, as well as providing you with an estimated budget. By the end of your initial design consultation, you will be well on the way to creating the bathroom or kitchen of your dreams.

3. Virtual Quotation Presentation

Your designer will present your renovation solution from one of our showrooms, with a detailed quotation and concept design. To help you visualise your space, your designer may present you with a 3D view or a virtual room presentation. We’ll also show you examples of the fixtures, finishes, and storage solutions from our showroom displays.

4. Selecting your materials and finishes

After confirming that you’re ready to renovate with smarterBATHROOMS+ it’s time to select all of the new materials, colours, fixtures, and finishes that will fill your new home. Guided by your personal taste, your interior designer and detailer will work with you to select every last detail of your renovation.

5. We’re ready to renovate

Once this has been conducted we are ready to get your renovation contract signed and products ordered. Before you know it we will be transforming your home.
