Losing the main bathroom area to make way for a new kitchen the clients required a suitable replacement.

What was a fernery/porch area under the first floor balcony was the site for this new bathroom.  Challenges included a critical window that allowed precious light into the adjoining room, yet would look directly into the new bathroom.  An opening between the underside of the balcony and the roof line of the newer additions that need to be filled and different floor levels were all overcome.

The end design used a clever combination of painted glass splashback, frosted glass and carefully selected fittings to make the space work functionally and look stunning.
