Rather than sell their family home, our clients chose to reimagine it entirely. We worked closely with them to transform the layout and functionality of every space; creating a home that works harder for their family while feeling warm, welcoming, and effortlessly elegant.

The Brief

Our clients wanted a home built around real family life: smart, hidden storage solutions, an abundance of natural light, and a warm, earthy palette that felt inviting rather than clinical.

The Design

A curved island anchors the room, wrapped in Speckled Beige finger tile that adds texture and softness to the space’s sculptural form. Brushed rose brass handles bring a subtle hit of bling against the earthy palette: warm, understated, and just enough shine to catch the eye.

Olive green subway tiles, laid stacked vertically, bring texture and depth to the home. We mixed matte and gloss finishes to create subtle movement as natural light moves across the surfaces throughout the day.

These are paired with Polytec Florentine Walnut cabinetry, adding warmth and richness to the space. The Caesarstone Dreamy Carrara Mineral benchtop, with its soft, subtle veining adds a touch of understated elegance while tying the space together with the bathroom for a cohesive feel throughout the home (view here).

Function

Hidden appliance storage keeps the kitchen looking streamlined and clutter-free, letting the curved island and feature tile take centre stage.

An induction cooktop was chosen to future-proof the kitchen and offer peace of mind with a young child in the home – combining safety with a sleek, modern finish. Every detail, from the curved island to the concealed storage, works together to create a kitchen that’s as practical as it is beautiful.
