Sandringham Home – Bathroom

Having worked together previously on two past bathroom renovations our clients now being seasoned pros were very definitive about what they wanted to achieve in their bathroom space. This being their “forever” home, the room was to be primarily used by our clients two sons, so the space had to grow with them, being functional, durable and uncluttered. As the house is in close proximity to the beach the aesthetic had to emulate a laid back coastal feel – reminiscent of a relaxed beach house.

The major design challenge in this bathroom was fitting all the required elements within the existing square room, while ensuring it remained a functional, uncluttered space. We think you will agree that our design team nailed the brief with the inclusion of faux terrazzo tiles and a textured timber vanity unit to embody the coastal style. The choice of curved fixtures and oversized round mirror was deliberate to soften what would have otherwise been a cold room. Overall the selected finishes reflect a laid back simplicity that immediately allows the space to feel soft and inviting, whilst remaining both functional and durable.
