A Windsor Home, Reimagined with Modern Sophistication

Our client wanted to transform their bathroom into a luxurious retreat, anchored by a freestanding bath.

To stay cohesive with the kitchen renovation (view here) completed at the same time, we carried through the beautiful Statuario Maximus Caesarstone mineral stone and Polytec Florentine Walnut into the vanity.

Layered with a fluted shower screen and Stormy Grey kit kat tile, the space gains real depth and movement.

Function

We moved a wall, borrowing space from the adjoining bedroom, to create a bathroom generous enough for a freestanding bath to sit as its rightful hero. This is paired with a spacious walk-in shower that improves both safety and accessibility.

We also introduced ample vanity storage; something the original bathroom had none of.

Laundry

The laundry was redesigned with functionality front of mind. We kept the palette simple and light, and installed an Illume skylight to bring natural light into a previously dark room. Relocating the washing machine and dryer under the bench freed up the space, making it feel noticeably bigger.

The vertical line pattern is echoed in the concave white kit kat tile splashback, tying the room together.
